Background of Development
Why did a jewelry manufacturer develop a castable resin for 3D printers? The answer is simple: there was no satisfactory resin for direct casting.
At first, we tested with SLA and DLP, but MonoLCD printers, which are inexpensive and have high performance, became popular. Since the price of resin was also lower than that for professional use, we changed direction to MonoLCD/DLP.
There were three points we were not satisfied with.
1. The detail of the modeling is not beautiful.
2. The skin of the molding was not beautiful.
3, Casting is not clean.
We searched and tested all over the world for a castable resin that could solve these 3 points, but we could not find one.In addition to the above 3 points
4, Lost wax using a wax injector and castable resin can be cast at the same time.
5, Castable resin can be cast beautifully without using special investment for resin.
6. Direct casting in silver, gold, platinum, and all other jewelry metals.
We cannot manufacture resin, but we can determine, test, and verify what functions are required. With these 6 points in mind We partnered with an overseas resin manufacturer to conduct research and development, and after two years of research and development, we were able to launch the product.
As for platinum, it is not a south wall.We are launching it in the belief that someone around the world will find a way to bring it to market that we haven't even imagined.Of course, there is a world-famous casting machine manufacturer in Japan, so we are going to cooperate with them in our R&D.We will continue to develop our products so that they will be compatible with LCD/DLP 3D printers, which will continue to improve in performance.
